Yasuda doesn't mention any consoles that the remake will be coming to, but we can assume that the game will arrive on the PS5 and Xbox Series X in 2023. Meaning we are going to get to see Juliet and her decapitated boyfriend in a new 4K light - very exciting.
Lollipop Chainsaw is back! The last bit of news - albeit, an expected one - is that the Lollipop Chainsaw remake will have new and updated graphics that make use of the new-gen hardware. As long as it is as fantastical as the previous OST - we are sure that fans will love it. Lollipop Chainsaw will have a revamped and new soundtrack. The original Lollipop Chainsaw featured over 15 licensed tracks that Dragami Games no longer has access to, due to licence agreements running out. The first big change will be the soundtrack. Yet, despite this, there will be some changes coming to Lollipop Chainsaw. Yasuda then informs us that the original development team is working on the remake. We were just unsure of what that would be exactly, so speculation ranged from a remake to a remaster to a sequel.
Update: Last month Yoshimi Yasuda teased that Lollipop Chainsaw would be making a comeback of sorts. We can expect to see the cult-classic hack'n'slash zombie fest arrive sometime in 2023.
